Principal and President
A.J. Rolling
The sole owner of Cat-Wood Metalworks since 2022, A.J. Rolling is responsible for establishing the company’s goals and presiding over its output. As President, A.J. manages the company’s finances, growth and direction.
A retired Air Force Lt. Colonel A.J. holds a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech. After serving in Afghanistan, A.J. finished his military career at the United States Air Force Academy, teaching gas turbine engine design. 2
A.J. and his wife, Margret, have been married for 23 years and have two daughters.
Operations Manager
Connie Harris
As Operations Manager, Connie Harris oversees the company's day-to-day operations. She helps grow the business and builds lasting customer relationships.
A native of Bellbrook, Ohio, Connie has over 20 years of experience in Operations, having held customer service and administration positions. In her spare time, Connie loves crafting, spending time with her three sons, and volunteering with the local Leukemia Society.
Quality Manager
Nicole Giles
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures and processes that sustain a high-quality management system, Nicole is highly focused on continuous improvement, reducing customer returns and internal scrap.
Nicole grew up in Troy, Ohio, where she began working in manufacturing while in college. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Wright State University. Professionally, Nicole has held many positions in manufacturing and has extensive experience working with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 and Nadcap certifications.
Nicole spends as much time as possible outdoors, preferably with family, listening to music and enjoying the view of her neighbor’s 50-acre cattle farm.
Purchasing Manager
Aldrin Gomes
Aldrin’s responsibilities include evaluating suppliers and negotiating with vendors to procure high-quality materials and hardware at the best price.
Originally from Severn, Maryland, Aldrin recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master of Science in Information Systems. In September 2022, he moved to Ohio and began working at Cat-Wood Metalworks as Purchasing Manager and CMMC Coordinator.
Away from the office, Aldrin can be found at the gym, playing football, and enjoying time with family and friends.
Office Administrator
Deb Myers
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Deb earned her A.A.S. degree from Sinclair Community College and a B.S. from Wright State University. She served for 3.5 years on active duty with the U.S. Army and 3 more in the Reserves.
With Cat-Wood since 2006, Deb is our Office Administrator. She manages accounts, coordinates insurance benefits, processes payroll, and oversees shipping.
Every day, Deb strives to make a positive difference by giving her all in everything she does at Cat-Wood. At home, she channels her eye for detail into her cross-stitching. She is an avid reader and an accomplished dog trainer.
Project Manager
Florence D’Costa
As Project Manager, Florence develops and executes projects promptly and in line with company goals. This involves constructing detailed work plans, managing teams, achieving milestones, and communicating with all departments.
Born in Bangladesh, Florence and her parents emigrated to the U.S. in 1993, joining extended family in Maryland in 1993. As the eldest of all her siblings and cousins, Florence began to develop leadership skills at a young age. She attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, majoring in Business Administration and Management. Her career journey has included institutions such as the Food and Drug Administration, Beech Street Capital, Walter Reed Military Medical Center, and others.
Always impassioned about her work, Florence is thrilled to have a new role as a mother to her daughter, Nour, born in May 2022.
Shop Production Manager
Deron Hughes
A dedicated Cat-Wood employee for 26 years, Deron is responsible for daily operations and machine scheduling of the shop floor.
A Dayton native, Deron lives in nearby Kettering, Ohio. With an Associate of Applied Science in Recording Engineering from Full Sail University in Orlando, Deron has continued his education in tooling and manufacturing, earning certifications in leadership training and Master CAM, and gaining experience in Solid Works.
Daron’s experience and skillset include 3- and 5-Axis manufacturing, product development and prototyping, process engineering, ANUC controls and G-Code programming, CAM software, GD&T specifications, Six Sigma lean manufacturing, and the 5 S System.
On a personal note, Deron has devoted his life to his family. He enjoys a fitness- and wellness-focused lifestyle. His hobbies include remodeling houses, listening to music of all kinds, and taking long rides on his Harley.
Lathe Production Manager
Chris Craycraft
Responsible for maintaining the lathe area and providing efficiency in the workflow.
Born and raised in Ohio, Chris Craycraft has been at Cat-Wood for nearly 15 years, through multiple changes in ownership, and has seen huge transformations as the company has evolved into the business it is today.
Possessing well-honed skills in programming, set-up, and training, Chris has gained his knowledge and abilities on the job. As he likes to say, he is “Cat-Wood organically grown.”
Chris’s free time is spent being a devoted father to his three girls. His personal hobbies and interests include gaming, movies, football, arm wrestling, and building PCs.
